Volunteering is a rewarding experience that gives back in ways paid work often doesn’t. It helps build community as well as individuals. 

At Bay of Islands Waldorf Education Trust (BOIWET) we work in a variety of ways to highlight the importance of child development theories in the application of teaching, and to engender the skills and confidence in the young child so that they grow into free, morally responsible and integrated person. Our volunteers keep the community at the heart of what we do, and keep what we do running smoothly.

As a community organisation run by the community for the community we want to ensure volunteering opportunities are available to for everyone. There are many ways to be involved including our working bees and market stalls, events and fundraisers as well as planning and strategy to grow and improve what we do.
